Welcome to the Exchange Club of Newport Harbor

Exchange is a non-profit service club supporting the prevention of child abuse, promoting Americanism, sponsoring youth and community projects and exchanging ideas on how to achieve these goals more effectively.

Our club is one of the 700 clubs in the United States, all of which are members of the National Exchange Club headquartered in Ohio. The national organization has its own user-friendly website at www.nationalexchangeclub.org , and the District website is www.calnevexchange.org . Please visit both of these websites to grasp the scope and impact of Exchange Clubs near us and throughout the land.

In addition to our weekly meetings, we have many activities supporting our community, such as scholarships to students who excel and an annual search for talented student performers. We have two large events to achieve our goals. One is our annual Field of Honor honoring servicemen and women on Armed Forces Day, and the other is our annual movie event, where we have been able to screen a new movie each year for the last 23 years, with a food festival sponsored by local restaurants.

Get ready for the Field of Honor on Armed Forces Day weekend, May 15-17, 2015.  Dedicate a flag for this weekend by following the directions below. Click on this URL to see a three-minute video:

The Exchange Club Covenant of Service

Accepting the divine privilege of single and collective responsibilities as life's noblest gift, I covenant with my fellow members:

To consecrate my best energies to the uplifting of Social, Religious, Political and Business ideals;

To discharge the debt I owe to those of high and low estate who have served and sacrificed that the heritage of American citizenship might be mine;

To honor and respect law, to serve my fellowmen, and to uphold the ideals and institutions of my Country;

To implant the life-giving, society-building spirit of Service and Comradeship in my social and business relationships;

To serve in Unity with those seeking better conditions, better understandings, and greater opportunities for all.
